This is by far the best setup I have used to date. Not only is the tourniquet securely stowed to prevent soiling the contents, but it deploys with a quick pull. There is no reorienting or one-handed flipping once the tourniquet is deployed, it is ready to apply. I have equipped my team with Tourniquicks and am certain this will save lives.
Absolutely love it. I'm the kind of guy who hates to flaunt tactical gear - visible MOLLE and multicam are the enemy, and nothing you have should call attention to itself. The black version, wrapped around the base of a noormal backpack's shoulder strap, with the TQ patch and red grab handle wrap removed, can be left fully exposed to the public eye while being completely nondescript and drawing no attention at all, but one quick tug and you've got a tourniquet in hand and ready to go, without even having to unclip the sternum strap. Couldn't ask for more.
The design is well thought out, but it's bulky. The initial set up is also pretty laborious. If you're wearing it on a duty belt, make sure you have room on the sides or front of gun belt. You wouldn't want to fall and land with this thing in the small of your back. I like ITS products, and this one is pretty good. Just be aware that it has some bulk.
Excellent item. The best tourniquet pouch on the market. The most accessible pouch anywhere.
