The ITS Baseplate Compass is a simple compass that punches above its weight in durability and compactness. It features a rotating bezel, liquid-filled capsule for stable operation, protractor scales, magnifying lens, orienteering lines and a fixed declination correction scale. Please Note: This compass does not feature adjustable declination and declination must be calculated manually. Click here to see our other compass models with adjustable declination.

Additionally, luminous glow-in-the-dark pips assist in orienting the compass properly in the dark. Included with each compass is a high-visibility nylon lanyard with a friction-lock cap. This allows the compass to be worn around the neck, without worrying about dropping it and losing it in the field. The flat base and built-in straight edge make working on top of a map even easier.
