- Baofeng UV-5R
- pinch piece
- gear keeper
Love this. I like pouches that tilt down to allow visual access more or less hands free. This one works perfectly not only with my Boefang as it is designed for, but also with another radio I use. My only wish is that it was available in ranger green color.
Top notch build quality
Overall I'm pretty impressed with the pouch and the ability to monitor and make changes on the fly. My only complaint would be that it's a tad bulky. I think rather than the fixed hook and loop for a shoulder strap it would be better suited to have an added sleeve behind the vertical molle web so that you could add/replace straps as needed. I'm running a wouxun so it isn't a perfect fit as the screen is much larger and obstructed by the drop down retaining patch but it's still much easier to use than unholstering and fumbling with a loose ht.
10-4 Radio Pouch
I love the designer and the way my radio sits in an easy to access position. The retention cord is a big plus. I added a spring loaded stopper toggle to the end of the bungee cord and finished it with some heat shrink tubing. Transition from pouch to charger or hand is a bit easier that way. Now I can run a coaxial cable from my radio to my antenna on my back yet still have easy access to the radio. Overall, great piece of kit.
One each for me.
Ideal for on the go. Perfectly, and painstakingly thought out for the specific model indicated. Used detractors I had .Small Gerber model works too. Just added a split ring to the radio lanyard ring I am set, 2 rigs ready to go
10 -4 radio pouch
As a mold maker I'm pretty critical ,probably a little overboard on stuff that I buy. This pouch is very well made and I'm giving it five stars because it also fits my Garmin two-way radio . bonus!
