- cargo pocket
- trauma kit
- nylon straps
Perfect size and quality as advertised
Compact, a bit lumpy, but good
Because the gauze and tourniquet are sealed together in this EDC Trauma Kit, it's nice and compact as compared to carrying these separately. I bought this for an "evac bag" in case of natural disaster, and it fits that purpose great. Could I literally EDC it in a back pocket as shown in the product photo? Technically, yes, but the vacuum seal makes things compressed down and hard, so it would start to get irritating. For comfort plus true EDC I would go for a cargo pocket or a dedicated tourniquet pouch on my person. Point of information: if you want to practice & this is your only tourniquet, you'll have to break the vacuum seal, which loses some of the value in this setup. That's not a negative point; just a point of information.
Like the size, need chest seal, pray I never have to use it
Perfect for the Trauma nurse on the go
I bought this for my wife who is an ER nurse and she was looking for something she could keep in her purse or in a coat pocket and key items were tourniquet, gloves and a dressing, she wishes it had a CPR shield but, but she loved it anyways
EDC Trauma Kit
While I haven't had to use the trauma kit and honestly hope I don't have to, enough cannot be said about the quality of the SOFT tourniquet. The metal buckles and nylon straps are such that I know this a piece of emergency medical equipment that I could use and reuse if needed with no hesitation.
