- cargo pocket
- CPR shield
Haven't had to use it yet thankfully but i carry it just in case.
This a compact, useful kit that can be easily carried in a pack, car or even on a belt. The case is sturdy and well made. I definitely recommend it.
After carrying this for about a week or so the kit has lost some of the vacuum compacting it and become a bit puffy. It is also a bit larger than the photo makes it seem and might not fit pockets depending on the cut of your pants, I typically wear standard pattern jeans or carpenters It is still very small for what it contains and the durability of the Truflex seems good.
Perfect size and quality as advertised
Because the gauze and tourniquet are sealed together in this EDC Trauma Kit, it's nice and compact as compared to carrying these separately. I bought this for an "evac bag" in case of natural disaster, and it fits that purpose great. Could I literally EDC it in a back pocket as shown in the product photo? Technically, yes, but the vacuum seal makes things compressed down and hard, so it would start to get irritating. For comfort plus true EDC I would go for a cargo pocket or a dedicated tourniquet pouch on my person. Point of information: if you want to practice & this is your only tourniquet, you'll have to break the vacuum seal, which loses some of the value in this setup. That's not a negative point; just a point of information.
