So far it’s been great - good fit and comfortable.
ITS MAS (Modern Adaptive Sepia) Zip-Up Hoodie
This hoodie is awesome, The only request I would make is add the thumbholes to the pull over as well. It’s a great additional layer in the mornings but light enough you don’t burn up in the afternoon. Keep it up….ADD THUMBHOLES to the pullover version and I’d buy another one
Received it on time , fixes great, and looks good on me.
Solid, soft and comfy Texas made hoodie at a damn good price
I am 6'1 and 195lbs with 42in chest ordered a L/XL with front zipper. The Good: This is honestly one of the softest and comfiest (it that even a word) hoodie I own. I typically cycle through 4-5 hoodies for EDC in the winter months and even a very light weight hoodie during the spring or early fall. The color is exactly like it appear in the pictures and it is always nice to have some Texas made clothing. :) The front pockets are nice and deep and help hold stuff like my daughters toys, remote control (so I don't loose it) and car keys with ease and make it unlikely for it to slide out when I bend over or lounge on the couch. YKK zippers are true color matched and great zippers that don't snag, nice touch. I have plenty of room in the chest and belly but fits perfectly at my shoulders. I haven;t had to wash it yet but I think it will very likely shrink just a smudge (like all 50/50 cotton polyester blends) and be just perfect. I give this hoodie a solid "A". The Meh: The 10oz "Heavyweight" fabric is more like moderate weight fabric. Maybe it was my expectation of the term "heavyweight" led me to think it was thicker and denser than it really was, although it is certainly softer on the inside than anything from a big box store. So this one is likely on me, however I do wish it was a denser and heavier fabric for any future models. Here in the Pacific northwest it gets cold, wet and windy and while this is a solid hoodie it is more typical EDC type hoodie (how I will be using it) and will need another base layer for anything under 50 degrees. The Bad: I have only two complaints with this hoodie. First the thumbholes appears much larger in the pictures than they are in real life. while they fit my thumbs it is honestly kinda snug and there is no way it would be comfortable with any kind of glove on (thinking Mechanic type gloves here). The second complaint i have is with the draw string. the lack of sticking along the route of the draw string as it goes over the front of the hood leads to it sliding backward toward the back of the hood and eventually around the back of the neck so that when you pull the draw strings instead of it tightening the front of the hood to restrict wind coming into your face it just tightens the hood around the back of your neck. This is an obvious oversight and needs to be fixed in future editions of the hoodie. Fortunately there are a bunch of Korean sew shops here at JBLM and I will just get them to try and color match the thread and widen the thumb holes and sew the drawstring into a track to fix this problem. Next Generation: Perhaps a future hoodie could be a cold weather cousin to this hoodie and would include a Polar-Tec 200-300 weight fleece (or US made similar fabric) plus wind blocker internal layer for solid cold weather performance. Add in a face shield that would hide in the back of the hood that could be un-velcroed and wrapped in front of the face to allow for better protection from cold and biting wind. Conclusion: Solid EDC, comfy, practical, color matched hoodie. Made in the USA. Add that to a very reasonable price (seen sh*t Nike, Under Armor and Adidas hoodies for $20-$40 more) and you have a damn good hoodie.
All Good in da Hood
165# @ 6’. M/L size Hoodie. The color is great and the material feels nice. I especially like the hood for and weight as it’s a double layer of fabric on the hood. The body fit is slim at the waist and the zipper feels nice. The arms are long enough but the forearms are a little snug. If you have “Popeye” forearms its gonna be tight. Washed it on hot and dried it..no issues afterwards. Overall a good buy!
