- needle nose pliers
I cut 2 fingers, and couldn’t open the lock for the first few tries. Finally got it open, straightened out the decoder with some pliers. Tried 2 more locks successfully. Then broke the decoder trying to get it back out of the 3rd lock. Would buy again as it does work. Practice before you need to use it; so get a few of them incase you bend/break 1 like I do. We use combo locks at work and the tumblers slip after years of use; 1 decoder for the work bag, and 1 decoder in each vehicle.
My EZ Decoder and Bogota Rake
I love the EZ Decoder..I will soon order a few more of them. The Bogota rake is a great, classic tool. I will soon order one in stainless steel. However, there's no reason for it to be made in titanium. I paid too much for something that will bend too easily..
Added to my lockpick carrycase
I bought this along with their thinner QuickStick -- swapped so that each holder had one of each, and how I have one set in my lockpick carrycase, and one in my in-home practice set. These are nice and small, which is relevant when trying to keep by lockpick set nice and light.
Works great. Lost key to an old padlock and this worked great
Great item !
Love it ! Feel like a real criminal now...opening my own locks.
